Starting this week most emplyees have returned to their workplaces with a few exceptions. Many Chinese suppliers have also resumed work, but to varying degrees. It will take some time before the capacity reaches 100%. There are still problems with domestic transport in China as the state authorities handle drivers who have been in other provinces and who are now returning home differently. Some regions quarantine the drivers 14 days before being allowed to return to work. The ports have been open all the time, but the shipping lines have chosen to cancel departures from China. In addition to major challenges when production capacity is fully up and running again, it also poses problems for other markets as the number of containers in circulation decreases.
