GDPR
The new General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR will apply from May 25th 2018 in Sweden and throughout the EU.
What is new is the emphasis on the fact that all individuals own their personal data and the new law therefore stress how companies handle address details for private persons. This means that a company must have a legal basis (e.g. an agreement), to handle an individual's personal data in the company's registers. A person has the right to have his or her information deleted with some exceptions such as regulations regarding how accounting and customs data is handled.
It is most important to Scanlink AB that all our customers are aware and confident about how any personal information is processed by us and how we ensure data protection for personal data when we deliver our transportation and logistics services to you.
Personal data can be used in our daily customer service / operations and in connection with transport documentation / invoicing / customs handling and is required in order for us to able to fulfill our agreement with you.
