Update from the Port of Gothenburg
The Port of Gothenburg is currently experiencing significant delays, with queue times exceeding six hours for drivers. The reason is a previous railway network damage, which has now been repaired. Train traffic has resumed, but road traffic in the area remains restricted for the rest of the week, meaning that one gate will remain closed until further notice.
All trucks must therefore be rerouted, causing longer handling and queues, and the port has also faced issues with system updates.
To help reduce queues, Gate 3 will remain open 24/7 until Friday.
The port is working hard to reduce the backlog, but we ask for your understanding as delivery delays may occur over the coming days.
