The cargo ship MSC Zoe encountered heavy weather while sailing towards Bremerhaven, Germany, on 2 January. Unfortunately, a number of the containers were damaged or lost overboard due to very difficult conditions. As many as 270 boxes have fallen off the vessel in rough seas and more than 20 containers have to date been washed up on islands and beaches of the Netherlands' mainland. As far as we can tell Scanlink has no cargo on MSC Zoe.

We would like to remind you of the Chinese New Year that will be celebrated the coming February. In 2019 the holiday will take place between February 4th and February 8th. As usual the country close down almost all its activities. If you are already planning shipments during this period, please contact us so we can try to reserv space as there will be many bookings and less departures.

Next week the national day in China is celebrated. During the Golden Week large parts of all logistics operations are closed down.
