As you might have noticed, the last few weeks have been characterized by problems due to the congestion in Rotterdam. One reason is that the ocean vessels have been affected by bad weather for several months which has caused delayes. In addition during the spring, one of the terminals in Rotterdam has been partly closed due to renovation works while local strikes have occurred. We hope the conditions will improve in the near future and ask for your understanding of the current situation.
We will inform you regularly about how the situation affects your shipments but if you have questions about a specific booking you are welcome to get in touch.

As you probably have noticed, the problems in the Swedish ports continue and the recent days' development has led to an escalation of the conflict. Since no agreement has been reached by the parties, the Employer's lockout from next week during the period March 6th to July 31st is answered by the Swedish Dockworkers Union with a strike action in all Swedish ports from March 6th. What this implyes is difficult to know at the moment and it remains to be seen whether any solution or change of situation will take place before the strike starts next week. As for now the situation looks like this:
Gävle - no impact
Åhus - no impact
Norrköping - little impact
Gothenburg - little impact
Stockholm - higly impacted
Helsingborg - higly impacted
We will keep you informed of the development.

About 40 containers are still missing from MSC Zoe. In total, 281 containers fell overboard in the hard weather in early January. Some containers still missing contained dangerous goods such as lithium batteries. It remains to be seen if any of the goods flow ashore along the Swedish coast in a couple of weeks. Scanlink had no cargo on board MSC Zoe.
